Dog policy

Unfortunately, there is a strict ‘no dogs’ policy, on the Estate. Dog walkers are permitted to use the public right of way only and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. The ‘no dogs’ policy on the Estate, includes leaving dogs inside of vehicles for any duration of time. An exception to this policy is made for Service Dogs.

Arrival and car parking facilities

Lamorna is reached off of Treloyan Avenue (A3074) through the main gated entrance. Castle village is accessed by the first right turn after the green wooden gate. A new car park is directly ahead in which we have an allocated parking space to the right of the steps leading down to the village. Lamorna is to the left at the bottom of the steps and has its name plate on the wall. There is a key safe adjacent to the front door to which you will be given a 4-digit code prior to arrival.

 

Additional parking is available at various sites around the Hotel, totalling in excess of 200 places. The main car park is to the rear of the Hotel with many more places besides the tennis courts, along the driveway.

Tregenna Facilities

We have no affiliation with the hotel and therefore guests staying at Lamorna have non-residential access to the hotel leisure facilities. Non-residents normally have all-year-round access to golf and Castle Beauty. Racket sports and pools are normally open to non-residents during Cornwall school term time the official stance is that they are restricted to hotel residents only however it is always worth a try as it depends on how busy they are. While Tregenna has a very small gym room, non-residents have no access to this facility.

Tregenna Castle Estate has a par three 18 hole President’s golf course surrounding the grounds, with magnificent views of the countryside and Bay. It is a ‘pay and play’ course and club hire is available.

​

The sub-tropical gardens are open all year round and well worth a walk around. The local BBC's Inside Out covered the restoration project which you can watch here.
